An ecommerce planning intern will work in the cross-functional, vertical retail setting in order to assist in planning of merchandising stock flow and financial metrics. You will analyze historic financial figures in order to aid in forecasting for the future, as well as take part in meetings, develop plans for other departments, and be immersed in the vertical retail environment.
• Analyze a specific area on a weekly basis and report findings to ecommerce team and to others as well as run all reports necessary to complete this analysis
• Attend all cross-functional team meetings in order to fully experience the vertical process
• Develop departments plans using sales and receipts including assortment, markdowns, and others using hindsight analysis from sales histories
• Site searches, testing, and product confirmation
Requirements
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week from June-August 2017
• Pursuing a degree in business, fashion merchandising, or a related field
• Possess a GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must have a deep proficiency in MS Excel (Knowledge of advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP and others a bonus)
• Must be detail-oriented and organized
• Good time management skills, yet flexible
• Must be capable of meeting strict deadlines without sacrificing quality of work
