Responsibilities:
Company is looking for an experienced, goal-oriented, digital marketing professional to assist in overseeing the digital marketing channels. A successful marketing assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all acquisition marketing channels which includes managing the promotional cadence as it relates to each channel, the creative process, as well as the overall on site conversion strategy with our external partners. The marketing assistant will work directly with the marketing manager to implement the overall strategy to drive sales, increase ROI, and improve overall brand awareness. This position includes all aspects of requesting and implementing creative/promotions, including working collaboratively across internal teams (such as with the creative team and the promotions team) and external teams (marketing agencies) to execute.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Support e-commerce marketing manager to execute marketing plans and monitor performance alongside marketing agency
• Manage creative briefing process form end-to-end which include creating briefs, advising on best practices within each channel, distributing and approving creative assets with external agency partners
• Maintain alignment with promotional calendar to ensure marketing messages is consistent across all channels
• Monitor daily performance across all channels as well as ongoing QA of all marketing campaigns such as paid search, affiliate, etc.
• Monitor progress toward objectives, designing reports and crafting presentations and articulating results to be distributed internally as well as making recommendations on optimizations
• Assist with the management of marketing-specific projects/tickets with IT
• Own and manage all program accounting, including accurate revenue and spend reporting, and invoice remittance
• Perform competitive analysis, industry research and the assessment of best practices particularly as it relates to new digital platforms and technology.
• Proactively stay abreast of industry trends and recommend ways the business can capitalize on these changes.
• Attend all vendor meetings to assist the team in project managing the process from end to end ensuring we are moving towards business goals
• Day-to-day administrative functions such as meeting scheduling; correspondence; maintenance of files, contract agreements, and reports
