The E-Commerce Systems Analyst researches, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves reported system issues across the Company portfolio of Digital Applications serving North America and Europe. We are seeking an individual experienced in front-end technologies with an understanding of Oracle ATG Commerce and Endeca to work with IT resources, business partners, and third parties to ensure the smooth performance of day to day E-Commerce operations. The role requires a strong technical skillset relevant to the listed qualifications along with the ability and desire to develop an advanced understanding of our single page responsive web application architecture.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to identified problems and incidents, taking ownership and seeing them through to resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis
• Perform operational tasks to ensure business continuity and system uptime
• Provide data and analytical support to key stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for improvement by monitoring incident trends, site traffic, and system performance
• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions to operational issues
• Support Agile and DevOps practices
• Develop reporting metrics for incident trends, site traffic, and system performance
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and a portfolio of work required
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript(ES6), AJAX and JSON
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS along with workflows like Redux
• Experience in NodeJS
• Knowledge of single page responsive web applications
• Proficiency in ATG eCommerce Framework and Endeca Search Engine a plus
• Good understanding of Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, RESTful)
• Proficient in SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Experience with ESB and Messaging administration a plus
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
• Proficiency operating in a Linux environment
• Understanding and implementation of web application security and data protection
• Understanding of build processes and tools (ANT, Maven, automated builds, continuous builds) a plus
• Understanding of full life cycle development and advanced level proficiency in AGILE methodology
• Experience working with matrix teams including teams in different time zones
