This role requires a hands-on leader with the ability to think and act strategically while working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and dynamic environment. A successful candidate will be able to lead a direct team and non-direct staff to scope, design, implement, and deliver scalable solutions, building and growing the technology portfolio that enables and empowers our global Sales and Go-to-Market organizations.
The Director of Technology Operations for Sales Enablement is responsible for overseeing the Sales Enablement technology portfolio. Working with our global business leaders across the Product and Field Enablement, Strategic Programs, Production, and Content Development teams, you will identify and understand needs and advise on technology strategy and direction. You will plan and prioritize efforts across the business, allocate and align resources, operationalize processes within your team, and collaborate with business partners within IT and other stakeholder groups to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions. In addition, you will partner with stakeholders in our Product and IT organizations on new technology innovations, building a shared vision and roadmap.
The ideal candidate has a deep technical background on the Company product portfolio, has experience with learning and development technology, and experience with Agile Development methodologies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure priority alignment with Sales Enablement Senior Leadership team
• Work with Sales Enablement Leadership to produce budgetary and capacity asks related to new technology solutions, features/enhancements, and production operations
• Advise Sales Enablement stakeholders on appropriate technology choices to service their needs
• Actively participate in IT Steerco to garner additional funds and resources for Sales Enablement initiatives
• Collaborate with IT on technology work streams for internal enablement
• Collaborate with external teams (Trailhead, Product, Enterprise Data Warehouse, IT Support) on the technology roadmap and as needed to drive resolution to technical problems
• Oversee and set direction for the Production Operations team that services systems needs of Sales Enablement and our external stakeholder groups (Product, Sales, CSG)
• Manage relationships and contracting process with technology vendors
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
• BS/BA Degree in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience
• 10+ years experience in technology roles
• Experience managing a technology portfolio with multiple, concurrent development work streams
• Experience with Agile Development or Scrum Project Management methodologies
• Proven track record of instituting new business processes to ensure consistent, predictable service for stakeholders
• Proven ability to engage in troubleshooting, configuration, and service monitoring with the ability to adapt and manage stressful situations
• Knowledge of Company product portfolio with the ability to leverage it to deliver scalable, enablement solutions
• Design mindset with a strong focus on the user experience
• Strategic thinker that can see the big picture, create innovative solutions, and adapt to constant change
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills and confident communicator
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to influence extended teams and command respect
• Ability to work well under pressure, highly adaptable, and well organized

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS DESIRED
