Title: Director- Strategy, Insights and Analytics
Reports to: SVP Strategy and Performance Marketing
Location: NY Office
Overview: Company website is seeking a Director- Strategy, Insights and Analytics to lead our customer-centric strategy and data-driven decision-making through delivery of meaningful market, customer and brand insights, data science and analytical models that will inform marketing campaigns and programs to increase market share, optimize revenue and drive brand awareness.
This role will oversee the key brand and customer health indicators and trends across the customer lifecycle and provide recommendations to maximize acquisition, engagement and retention performance based on how customers behave and interact with our brands. The individual will build our data science capabilities and champion the development of advanced analytics and models to drive marketing effectiveness

We have implemented The Marketing Innovation Lab (The MIL), which is an incubator focused on accelerated test and learn across our on-line and off-line marketing vehicles. This role will be a key leader in identifying innovative and new marketing methods to drive agile marketing.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead the development of a complete view of the market, key competitors and channels.
• Lead our customer-centric strategy. Identify key initiatives, perform analysis and sizing, set metrics and goals by initiative and manage implementation with key business partners.
• Develop customer lifecycle strategies to maximize marketing effectiveness.
• Maintain and enhance our customer interaction dashboard using internal and external data sets to gain a holistic perspective on how consumers interact with our brand.
• Oversee customer segmentation and key audiences for targeted messaging utilizing insights and predictive models and work with the marketing team to deploy in marketing campaigns and programs.
• Drive agile marketing methodology with insights and analytical tools.
• Analyze data and translate findings into insights and actionable recommendations, integrating relevant brand business knowledge to make actionable recommendations.
• Develop consistent strategic/analytical frameworks, KPI’s and standard dashboards to measure marketing campaign performance across brands.
• Identify and champion projects to introduce relevant new sources of customer data for deeper insights.
• Oversee the design, development and maintenance of attribution based mixed media modeling that drive annual marketing investment planning
• Define and track KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness of marketing programs. Oversee testing of prototypes and measurement of impact of digital solutions.
• Be a champion of Digital Transformation and influence business partners in cross-functional areas on the strategy, goal and objectives through communication, group dynamics and leadership
• Lead and oversee the charter/mission, day-to-day priorities and execution of the Insights and Analytics teams
• Identify and streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the team
Required Skills/Qualifications
• 10-15 years experience in relevant strategy, insights and data analytics, consulting or finance roles
• B.A./B.S. degree required, M.B.A or other advanced degree preferred
• Superior analytical and quantitative skills, with demonstrated ability to look comprehensively across quantitative and qualitative data sources to develop actionable insights for business leaders
• Experience using analytic tools like Business Objects, SAS, SQL and Browse data with strong basis in statistics and modeling
• Ability to conceptualize and deliver a strategic agenda for building analytics capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure of multiple projects / initiatives and deadlines, sometimes with conflicting requirements
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively and plan, organize and execute detailed and complex project plans
• Ability to lead and motivate direct reports in a change-focused environment
• Exceptional communicator who can engage leadership on relevant topics
