Responsibilities
Partner with business-aligned technology leaders to define strategic technical direction, develop roadmaps, contribute to project business cases and estimate budgets for new IT capabilities supporting the TV Entertainment business functions.
Develop solution architectures in collaboration with IT partners, business stakeholders and technology vendors ensuring solutions satisfy business needs, are appropriately aligned with NBCU and industry standards and are engineered to be flexible, reliable, cost effective, scalable and sustainable throughout the expected lifecycle.
Lead the technical delivery and/or provide oversight to other technical leads for new projects in TV Entertainment and/or other business domains according to business priorities. This includes leadership of technical teams to deliver innovative solutions including architecture, design, development, testing, integration, and deployment.
Drive innovation by advising project teams and other stakeholders on the external technology landscape – both within the media and entertainment industry and beyond, evaluating new technologies, supporting POCs/prototyping, and participating in the development of new capabilities and service offerings.
Contribute to the development of NBCU reference architectures and processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 8 years enterprise IT application experience that includes at least 2 years of hands-on software development, infrastructure building and management, or systems architecture.
Must have demonstrated success leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products, reporting and analytics, application integration and technical infrastructure within an organization with significant reliability, performance and security requirements.
Must have experience in agile software development, automated testing, and DevOps experience.
Must be a relationship builder and capable of functioning without line authority. Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Desired Characteristics
Experience in the media and entertainment industry.
Experience in leading change related to new business processes and technologies across a large organization is desirable.
Experience leading or contributing to standards development and governance.
