Specifically, this role will focus on leading the CRM Commerce area in the Sales Cloud organization overseeing the Quoting, Contracts, Billing facilities of CRM. Multiple teams are aligned to support this key area of selling and requires both a strong technical and managerial background. Role Description:
We are looking for a Senior Director to own and drive both development and quality engineering across multiple scrum teams.
Your Impact:
• Recruit, develop and grow the best engineering talent to create self-organizing, empowered, and motivated team
• Interface and collaborate successfully with other engineering and business groups to create and deliver on a product vision
• Be responsible and accountable for everything that is produced by your engineering teams
• Curate the engineering culture by establishing best practices and processes to create a work environment in which engineers can thrive
Basic Requirements:
• 7+ years of hands-on leadership in agile development environment
• Track record of working autonomously to achieve consistent product delivery, employee satisfaction, and retention
• Demonstrated ability to hire the best and brightest engineers in a competitive job market
• Ability to adapt and handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Thorough understanding of software architecture and object oriented design
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
• Results orientation with a focus on delivering value for the customer
• Excellent interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, and people leadership skills.
• Functional, hand's on ability to code in one or more Object Oriented language
• Master's Degree in CS or related field is highly desired.
• Prior successful people management experience.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing high-volume recruitment processes.
