Responsibilities:
• Schedule and maintain all of Epic Record’s releases in GRPS for domestic and international (including physical, digital and mobile) as overseen by Vice President of Release Planning.
• Work with Epic Senior management to schedule releases both aggressively and realistically within digital partners’ SLA.
• Oversee maintenance and distribution of Epic Record’s various domestic and international release schedules.
• Check accuracy of release date and data in both the EOM delivery system, and digital partner system admins (Apple, Spotify, Vevo).
• Engage marketing, art and A&R teams for delivery of needed pending assets.
• Distribute highly sensitive and confidential release info to Epic and Sony employees, with extreme discretion.
• Oversee delivery of Epic Record’s release assets (i.e. masters, video, artwork) into AOMA (asset storage & delivery system) including JIRA requests for upload.
• Deliver highly sensitive and confidential pre-release assets to domestic and international manufacturing plants.
• Obtain clearances for releases with Business Affairs and Copyright and communicate any issues as needed.
• Provide project updates at weekly production meeting for supply chain and creative/art departments.
• Compile release changes/updates at weekly label and sales scheduling meetings.
• Represent Company in system development/implementation meetings and steering committees.
Qualifications:
• College degree required.
• 5 years’ experience, music industry experience preferred.
• Release planning experience strongly preferred.
• Individual must have excellent organization skills and outstanding attention to detail.
• Individual must have excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to work diplomatically with a diverse range of personnel from various departments as well outside producers, managers and occasionally recording artists.
• Ability to understand and implement company-wide systems, policies and procedures.
• Excellent computer and problem-solving skills (Sony proprietary systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, web browsers, etc.)
• Knowledge of audio production, video production, and artwork production a plus.
• Knowledge of Sony systems a plus.
