This role reports directly to the President, Company Millward Brown Canada, with a direct line to the Firefly North America community and training. They will also collaborate closely with Company TNS Moderators, with a shared internal Project Management resource to assist with project execution. Our team consists of a group of dynamic and skilled research consultants, passionate about their clients and teams. KEY OUTCOMES
As Director of Qualitative Research you will…
• Consult with clients, design projects, write proposals (with assistance), execute research, and report on results that turn strategic recommendations into business results
• Be the market expert in the application of Firefly’s innovative suite of solutions
• Be primarily digitally based, with limited traditional methods including focus groups, face-face, strategy development sessions, ethnography, etc..
• Partner effectively and efficiently with Company Millward Brown and Company TNS Client Management teams to attract and retain high potential clients, and service clients through “relationship” teams
• Assist in the RFP and capabilities process adding valuable, insightful input, and creative methodologies where appropriate
• Be accountable for qualitative revenue and profit targets, with support of the business development team
CAPABILITIES
To succeed you will need…
• Agility: Must be a quick innovative thinker, bringing faster and richer results to clients (i.e. champion of non-traditional qualitative methods)
• People Skills: Good listener, empathetic, entertaining, high-energy, creative, a passion for solving marketing problems
• Marketing Knowledge: Strategic marketing experience on the agency or client side in brand/account planning, account management, or brand management, and/or experience as a qualitative market researcher
• Technology Skills: Knowledge and experience in all things digital (e.g. social networking, mobile marketing, community mining). Excellent thinking/writing/presentation skills, and a proven ability to manage, attract, retain and grow clients
