Role Summary:
Seeking a seasoned and motivated publicity executive who has direct experience overseeing and executing all facets of awards campaigns. Must have strong editorial, detail oriented, organized and creative & strategic thinker. Ideal candidate is able to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Has previous experience working with guilds and various awards groups and journalists.
Essential Responsibilities:
Work with National VP’s to oversee comprehensive ensemble talent campaigns & engagement across all areas: traditional/digital press, stunt/event activations and social platforms.
Managing agencies, developing timelines and monitoring benchmarks.
Works directly with talent reps on individual talent campaign execution.
Direct and oversee awards campaign strategy
Work with VP’s to oversee management of all LA press days, press junkets, special screenings, premieres
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in film publicity including direct experience pitching and overseeing awards campaigns
Will have strong working relationships with journalists, talent representatives and guilds
Must have keen knowledge of innovations in the digital landscape, and have interest in keeping abreast of trends in social media
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
