OUR TEAM
Our team is responsible for supporting and enhancing Company’s global store media network. Our store network processes billions of messages per day and powers Company’s omni-channel media network. You will report to the VP of Product and will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining Company store hardware across Europe, Japan, and the United States.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Manage Company’s global store media network hardware (store computers and printers).
• Manage hardware that supports Company’s In-Store media network: 45,000 stores.
• Develop store hardware strategies and present Business Cases to Executive Management.
• Lead cross-functional teams to recommend, test, and certify new in-store hardware.
• Product Ownership: execute hardware pilots and effectively communicate, key milestones, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
• Create new features and platform enhancements that strengthen partner/consumer engagement, improve our speed to market, deliver substantial cost savings and superior ROI.
• Author Product Requirement Documents for development and implementation.
• Effective financial planning and risk management. Performs financial analysis to determine product feasibility.
• Product Testing, including UAT with colleagues/partners.
• Proven track record of working and leading cross-functional teams.
• Able to adopt a broad view of the business across all functions and product areas to understand how your responsibilities fit into the “bigger picture”.
• Analytical, logical and fact-oriented – with the ability to dig deep to uncover all aspects of an issue.
• Able to interact with customers and senior level executives.
• Communicator with public speaking experience.
• Proven experience in delivering/shipping quality commercial projects and/or products on time and within budget.
• A good understanding of the product development cycle, including design, development, testing, documentation, and support.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ platform, product, or technical development experience with hardware and software solutions.
• Background in consumer, consumer package goods, or retail solutions an advantage.
• Passion for solving problems and working with teams.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS
• Understanding of network systems and development cycles.
• Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in strategic planning and tactical implementation processes.
• Analytical aptitude for writing, analyzing, and communicating business / development requirements as well as reading and interpreting marketing data.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Understands scope, priority and timeliness of assigned work.
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills including ability to prioritize projects and tasks based on general management guidance.
• Creative problem solving skills (analysis/resolution at both strategic and functional levels).
• A strong customer focus, including both internal and external customers.
• Experience presenting to internal and external executive-level audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with project management, interpersonal, and presentation mediums.
