The Project Coordinator works in a team environment with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to ensure the successful delivery of the program. The Project Coordinator may work directly with the customer, as well as other stakeholders (vendors, shared services, subcontractors) involved in delivering the program.
The Director, Product Management, Education is responsible for the strategy of Clinical Assessment products and services in the global education market. Leading a team of product managers, this position acts as business owner and key driver of our broad product portfolio. This individual will also work closely with Sales, Marketing, Development, Operations and other members of Product Management, leading the way in anticipating market needs and defining, refining, and improving our product vision and value proposition.
The Director of Product Management, Education Market manages the product through the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing buyer, customer, and channel requirements, assessing the current and future competitive landscape, and ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support Clinical Assessment’s overall strategy and goals.
The ideal leader for this role brings strong collaborative and problem-solving skills while keeping a clear eye toward the future. The Director, Product Management Education Market must be both motivated and excited by working with customers and eager to provide internal discipline to data-driven decision-making, focused on value and growth. An ability to develop internal and external relationships while balancing the day-to-day management of a high-performing team is crucial.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of Product Managers. Tracks staff performance, provides ongoing related feedback and coaching, and formally evaluates staff in yearly written performance reviews.
Lead all aspects of Product lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of the product(s) across all products/product lines.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and customers to deeply understand, document, analyze and synthesize customer needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and product specifications.
Work closely with sales, marketing, operations and customer Care to drive go-to-market strategies that incorporate competitive analysis, pricing and packaging strategy, differentiated product positioning and sales enablement.
On-going development of the product vision and strategy. Synthesize ideas on strategy, planning and execution of products. Building consensus and driving execution.
Maintain market knowledge. Analyses and keep abreast of market trends.
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
Works cross-functionally with Project Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Digital Products and Development organizations
Be viewed as an internal and external evangelist for Clinical Assessment and its product portfolio, interacting with all constituent teams
Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge/Ability
Highly effective verbal and written communicator, superb listening skills

An astute approach to business with a clear focus on sales growth, profitability and total customer satisfaction
A systematic approach to setting priorities and time management
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
8+ years experience product management
Minimum of 5 years management/supervisory experience and ability to mentor and develop staff.
Experience in assessment within the Prek-12 education market desirable.
