Martindale-Nolo, a division of Company, is looking for an experienced sales leader to drive the growth of our sales team, customer base and revenue. This is an opportunity to fill a key leadership role in a growing company that is the market leader. We're looking for an entrepreneurial individual who has the discipline and energy to manage and contribute to growth with a high tolerance for change and innovation.
Duties include planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization and selection of sales force talent. The Director of Sales fosters close working relationships with internal and external clients to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and Operations.
Responsibilities:
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate inside sales team to achieve aggressive goals.
• Meet or exceed new business and revenue goals.
• Leverage CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets.
• Roll up sleeves attitude assisting on sales calls as needed.
• Design, coordinate and implement motivational/incentive programs.
• Enhance the operations, tools, and processes necessary to deliver new-business results.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
• Establish and prioritizes training objectives for selling, sales management, and sales support roles.
• Continue to hire and develop top-tier talent to support growth objectives.
• Collaborate with internal product teams and provide feedback from the field to help shape future development.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years successful experience in online, inside sales with a consistent proven track record of exceeding quota expectations in an internet business-business environment.
• Min. 2-5+ consecutive years of successful Sales Management / Director Level.
• Excellent people management skills including resolving conflicts, coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management.
• Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Company website.
• Experience with lead generation and outbound prospecting a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
• BA/BS in business or related field (MBA a plus).
