Job Description
SUMMARY: The primary focus of this position is preservation of SBA guaranty through adherence to Company and SBA/USDA policies and procedures as related to the following: 1) Post closing follow-up, insurance and exception tracking, correspondence and record management; 2) All servicing actions/customer requests; 3) Safety and soundness of portfolio through financial analysis to insure all loans are properly risk rated; 4) Past dues/delinquency; and 5) Liquidation workout. Also supervises Servicing staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
• Lending authority up to $3,000,000.
• Adherence to SBA SOP's and BU and SBA Policy and Procedures.
• Responsible for timely collection of financials statements to perform analysis on portfolio.
• Active management of pipeline/workflow for Servicing Actions and Annual Reviews.
• Interact with and respond to requests and questions from borrowers, teammates, and third party vendors.
• Review and approve servicing requests (within loan authority) and portfolio maintenance issues.
• Review past dues and discuss/approve loan action plans.
• Review exception and future maturities reports.
• Hold past-due meeting.
• Review and approve borrower Annual Financial Reviews and credit status changes.
• Discuss and approve workout, liquidation and litigation plans.
• Prepare quarterly portfolio soundness and risk review to address trends, concerns and general status of credit risk-rated "watch" and worse.
• Review reporting to SBA and USDA on repurchased loans.
• Review scheduling of required USDA annual site visits.
• Interact with internal loan review, credit administration, sales and production to insure efficient processes.
• Interact with external loan reviews, auditors and regulatory agencies, as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must also have a minimum of 10 years of SBA portfolio management experience, including expert financial analysis skills and knowledge of bankruptcy law, Uniform Commercial Code, problem loan resolution, foreclosure, collateral liquidation and loan litigation.
