The Director of Partner Channel Strategywill be responsible for key channel initiatives intended to drive new customer acquisition, operational improvements, enhance partner relationships and ultimately drive ongoing customer engagement and retention with our products. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Operations for the Partner Channel and involves working closely with the Partner Channel leadership team and with Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Development, IT Operations, Card Operations, Analytics, and Creative teams. This position is based in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a holistic view of the relationships with our top partners from an operational and strategic perspective and look for ways to optimize those relationships.
• Identify new product and operations opportunities, partnerships, features, services, and capabilities that could impact Partner Channel programs and their profitability.
• Assist account management with specific partner projects that have applicability cross channel.
• Act as subject matter expert and liaison to coordinate with Account Management and sales for new partner launches.
• Facilitate development of new product, direct marketing, creative and messaging tests to drive greater card acquisition in-store and online for the Partner Channel.
• Lead key channel projects and new product launches as well as initiatives intended to optimize the customer experience for the product.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, creative and development teams on projects intended to maximize card sales and account performance.
• Prepare key account and management reports for the Partner Channel leadership team.
• Monitor competitive environment for new acquisition and M&A opportunities that would positively impact the channel.
Skills/Education/Experience:
• Minimum of 4+ years experience in prepaid or financial services strategy, product development, account management, retail and/or consumer marketing, and/or project management in technology, software, financial, or information services industry.
• Bachelors Degree from top university, preferably in business; MBA preferred.
• Solid project management skills and experience managing multi-faceted projects and initiatives.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly in an ever-changing environment.
• Proven track record of focusing on solutions, key metrics and results, propelled by positive can-do attitude, energy and entrepreneurial spirit to achieve financial success.
• Data driven and comfortable working in a data intensive environment.
• Proven ability to establish productive working relationships at all levels and influence change with internal and external business partners.
• Ability to maintain good balance of strategic vision and tactical implementation.
• Strong professional ethics and impeccable personal integrity.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
