Position Summary
Oversees and executes all on-campus recruiting efforts, with primary focus on official visits, unofficial visits, game day recruiting programming, junior days and other events. Serves as liaison for high school coaches, prospects and families by building meaningful relationships and exemplifying the Carolina Athletics mission of educating and inspiring through athletics. Oversees all forms of recruiting correspondence, including social media communication, recruit mailers, email and questionnaires. Organize and log recruit ticket lists for all recruiting events, film evaluations, weekly high school results, and recruiting correspondence. Develop and monitor strategic planning for recruiting operations, built on a foundation of Carolina Football’s defined core values, commitment to excellence and recruiting / operational goals. Perform other related duties as assigned by Associate Athletic Director and assist with all other recruiting operations of Carolina Football. Understand and reinforce commitment to NCAA and ACC rules, while promoting student-athlete welfare.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, Master’s degree is preferred.
All degrees must be from accredited institutions.
Qualifications and Experience
Must communicate and interact effectively, respectfully and appropriately with prospects and their families, coaches, the Department, the University, and the community. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with recruits, coaches, colleagues, student-athletes, and administrators. Handle multiple tasks in a high stress environment.
Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends.
Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel and multiple forms of Social Media (Instagram, snapchat, Facebook, etc)
