GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Director of Marketing has overall responsibility for developing and delivering a fully integrated strategy and associated marketing activities for the business. The Director of Marketing leads all aspects of Strategic Marketing and Marketing Communications at ChemTreat, to include Strategy/Business Development, Campaigns, Events, and Digital Marketing. This position serves as the head of the Marketing team and reports directly to the VP of Marketing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Lead a team of 10 people; coordinate the efforts of Vertical Sales Leadership, Technical Services, and other key stakeholders within the commercial and support teams.
•Oversee the planning, creation, and implementation of ChemTreat’s Strategic Plan.
•Assess in-market and adjacent space opportunities in order to establish marketing campaign priorities and influence product development efforts.
•Establish improved marketing intelligence processes (VOC, Customer Satisfaction/NPS, Win/Loss Analysis) to diagnose gaps in commercial execution and identify countermeasures
•In conjunction with Vertical Sales Leadership, manage the planning and execution of ChemTreat Marketing campaigns for all verticals
•Lead the development and implementation of ChemTreat’s digital marketing strategy to drive global brand unification, increased brand awareness, and lead generation
•Coordinate internal/external events and communications to included conferences/seminars, tradeshows, and promotional items portfolio management
•Manage inorganic growth funnel to drive prioritization of ChemTreat M&A targeting and cultivation
•Lead the business development process for active M&A projects to include market work, company due diligence, and modeling to drive investment decision and valuation
•Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness/efficiency of Marketing activities and drive improvements, including refinements to organizational structure and associated processes.
SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•Work with sales and tech support teams to build and maintain product and market knowledge.
•Support marketing-related ERP activities; document and communicate all process changes and requirements, coordinate all data/software integration efforts.
•Coordinate with other Danaher operating companies to support platform level marketing efforts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in Strategic Marketing and/or Marketing Communications
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell
•Constantly using hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.
•Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
