Los Angeles based Company, Inc. is seeking a Director of Marketing to oversee marketing and business development/partner marketing for a business unit. The position will have direct responsibility for achieving key business objectives, leading strategic planning through execution.
Responsibilities:
• Lead development of quarterly and annual marketing plans to achieve business unit P&L objectives.
• Supervise marketing team and a team of business development reps responsible for execution of all marketing channels and a portfolio of partner activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional peers to define objectives and plans.
• Plan, manage and execute subscriber acquisition campaigns across key acquisition channels, including, but not limited to SEM, display/retargeting, social, mobile, affiliate, email, trade shows, partner marketing and lead generation sources.
• Create and implement innovative multi-channel acquisition strategies & campaigns via strong collaboration with Product and Sales.
• Lead marketing automation and CRM utilization and develop clear lead management processes.
• Define Success Metrics, KPI’s and reporting for all channels and report performance analysis, ROI and insights.
• Ensure pricing, offers, messaging and creative is effective and consistent across acquisition channels.
• Manage agencies and marketing vendors/partners.
• Develop and pitch new, innovative growth strategies to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of professional experience in a digital marketing role, ideally for a SAAS business targeting the SMB segment.
• Proven track record of ROI based marketing accomplishments.
• Hands on experience with digital media, including SEM, display, retargeting, social, email, and mobile.
• Strong understanding of marketing automation and CRM practices (Company website) to manage lead flows.
• Results-oriented with a proven record of driving programs to achieve objectives.
• Exceptional analytics capabilities with knowledge of Web metrics
• Significant problem-solving, communication, and organization skills.
• Well organized with attention to detail and ability to follow-through.
• Excellent management and team leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop people.
• High degree of flexibility and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
