Director of Enterprise Network Services
Company seeks a Director of Enterprise Network Services at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide strategic and operational leadership of all functions within the network services platform.
• Manage a team of internal professionals and external service providers that are responsible for consistent operational support and availability.
• Oversee the preparation and effective management of the annual operating budget.
• Continually review operational performance to determine opportunities for improvement.
• Recruit, train and develop a superior staff. Train staff in the use of industry best practices, established engineering methodologies and documented procedures.
• Oversee regular operational reviews, including performance reporting and continuous improvement progress.
• Monitor the full-service lifecycle of WAN, LAN, wireless, Internet, mobile and voice services across the enterprise.
• Delegate the oversight of technologies, processes and practices in support of security policies.
• Adhere to all current changes and problem management policies and procedures.
• Manage capacity and usage report documentation of networking technology and health of data and voice communications systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or computer-related discipline. Master's degree desirable.
• 20+ years of information technology work experience.
• 10+ years of IT team leadership experience, including the direct leadership of infrastructure engineering and support teams.
• Proven track record of leading technology management through all life-cycle phases in accordance with established directions and standards.
• Strong background in all elements of infrastructure technologies, including network, voice, Internet, mobile, security and enterprise network performance.
• Strong executive presence, presentation skills and business acumen.
• Skilled at talent management including assessment, deployment, development, reward and retention.
• Excellent technical and nontechnical communication skills, both written and formal with proven ability across all levels, both inside and outside the company.
• Strong customer service focus and experience working with end users.
• Available for travel to Company's domestic and international branches.
