What We Do: The Director of Digital Creative is responsible for the creative development and execution of the consumer experience and digital brand look and feel on Company website leveraging the brand vision and seasonal concept direction from the Brand Creative Director. This role also drives online traffic and sales through concept creation and delivery of email and demand generation digital advertising. The Director of Digital Creative works closely with cross-functional marketing and digital teams to drive innovation, successful execution and a seamless cross-channel customer experience for the Company brand. The Director of Digital will lead a team that consists of graphic designers for specialty, factory and international. This role reports directly to the brand’s Creative Director and works closely with the VP of Digital.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and deliver on traffic, customer acquisition, and retention targets that drive Company Online’ s financial results
• Serve as a thought leader to drive innovation in digital channels and media vehicles
• Ensures that the site experience is in line with Brand identity and Brand strategic initiatives
• Develop and retain a high-caliber digital creative team by assessing current and future needs, and developing a holistic organizational model that scales with the needs of the business
• Collaborates closely with the Company Marketing, Digital, and Production teams to drive business objectives and translate key merchandising strategies into customer-focused messages
• Partners with the Marketing and CRM teams in creation and execution of effective customer retention strategies delivered through productive email programs and personalized site experience. Leads collaboration with brand, Ecommerce, DCM and email teams to deliver disruptive creative solutions.
• Partners and influences Product Management as part of overall site and consumer experience
• Partners with sister brands to drive on-line cross marketing opportunities on universal platform
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 10-15 years of consumer marketing and creative management experience in retail fashion or beauty. Strong track record of establishing a creative vision that drives awareness, acquisition and loyalty through the digital experience. Ecommerce experience required.
• Minimum of 7 yrs management experience in a creative setting
• Strategic thinker with passion for our business and the customer
• Ability to think creatively and commercially to drive business with innovative digital ideas that execute across platforms and media vehicles
• Strong understanding of our business and overall business acumen. Proven experience in working effectively in Creative and Merchandising organizations
• Ability to develop and manage relationships with key business partners and key stakeholders to improve performance of digital programs while maintaining integrity of brand experience
• Self-starter with strong creative point of view, and persuasive communicator.
Able to manage and lead through ambiguity and change; strong problem-solving skills especially with emerging digital platforms and media
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
