Director of Communications, Product
The Product Communications Director will create and drive compelling narratives, campaigns, and announcements that help our consumers connect with our products and our brand around the world.
Work will focus on telling stories that build awareness of and tell a story around our products and our brand work. The role requires a communications rockstar who can build strategic communications plans that differentiate our brand, position our products and build engaging and compelling experiences for media that result in strong headlines and in-depth product stories across all media channels.
This role requires communications with internal stakeholders, our consumers, enthusiasts and of course, the media. You will work closely with marketing, sales, product and design teams.
Responsibilities
• Design and deliver creative communications campaigns and narratives.
• Drive awareness of our products through stories in influential publications and through awareness campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media.
• Manage product launches and announcements.
• Develop written materials, including product messaging, announcement plans, FAQs, etc.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• A minimum 10 years relevant work experience.
• Previous experience working with fashion, footwear and lifestyle brands is preferred, not required.
• A self-starter who instinctively and consistently creates personal and professional stretch goals and meets them.
• Works well with others with the ability to build trust with the team and work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
• Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities. Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Curiosity and ability to think creatively, flexibility, and with a sense of humor.
