Director, Original Productions - New Digital Business
OVERVIEW
This role reports to VP of Digital Series and is responsible for managing and delivering original productions for our subscription video businesses.
The Director is a creative production executive with impeccable organizational, communication skills and attention to detail. S/he must be a team player that can work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid environment and roll up his/her sleeves to work with our creative partners and execute flawlessly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with VP of Digital Series to build a production infrastructure and internal workflows to enable the successful delivery of our slate of original productions.
• Manage the physical production elements for projects in the development pipeline.
• Collaborate with external partners to maximize budgets while maintaining creative integrity to ensure successful execution.
• Build a network of specialized production personnel to call upon to support our original productions.
• Coordinate with VP of Business Affairs to make sure productions follow guidelines of executed contracts, and are fully cleared when delivered.
• Develop and maintain a calendar to track production process and delivery status.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 8+ years experience in practical production experience
• 2+ years experience managing and influencing decision making
• Experience working within new media businesses is a must
• Excels in high volume and high responsibility/accountability positions
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
• Expert written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled project manager, capable of juggling multiple priorities at once
