Responsibilities:
The VP/ Director of Mortgage Marketing & Digital Support will partner with senior Mortgage & Consumer Bank managers to increase revenue streams and evaluate market opportunities for mortgage origination, mortgage servicing and online marketing for the Bank. The VP/ Director will lead the advertising, branding, and marketing initiatives for the Mortgage Lending group and play a key role to the team in assisting with development and evaluation of new businesses. The position will also manage internal staff and external agencies. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop short-term and long-term strategic marketing plans and implement marketing programs that capitalize on business opportunities to target new and existing customer segments, contribute to the achievement of strategic business plan objectives to drive revenue, increase market share, and achieve optimal brand awareness.
Leads and manages all aspects of mortgage marketing, communications, and in-house advertising agency to initiate marketing campaigns aligned with organizational goals, maximizes return on investment (ROI) and promotes optimal customer experience for mortgage lending and mortgage servicing
Creates, manages, and deploys acquisition and retention mortgage marketing campaigns across marketing channels including Search Engine Optimization, Paid Search, Direct Mail, and EMail marketing campaigns
Ensures all collateral is compliant with all mortgage origination and mortgage servicing regulations
Authors content for all relevant letters, emails and website pages
Manages relevant campaign production and quality control process for marketing campaigns
Oversees all content, design, development, and user experience for corporate website of Company website
Supports digital marketing initiatives for Retail Banking Group
Qualifications:
– Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related major required / MBA preferred
– Minimum of 5 years of professional experience; preferably in banking or financial services
– Must have strong analytic skills to forecast, track, and measure financial performance of marketing functions
– Must have an understanding of business, ability to drive profitable outcomes, and proven executive management abilities based on prior experience
– Must have a complete understanding of the principles and methods of advertising, promotions, public relations,
market research and database marketing
– Must have the ability to create, present, execute, and track marketing plans to financial performance targets
– Must have the ability to manage and develop budgets for reaching marketing goals and objectives while ensuring those are within policies and procedures
– Must have experience directly supervising, coaching, and providing creative direction to team members
– Must demonstrate abilities to maintain professional contacts, a knowledge base of marketing skills within and outside OneWest, keep up with trends, and ensure compliance of all regulations and laws affecting bank marketing
