JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Marketing Analytics and Reporting leads the development and oversees the implementation of strategies for marketing data collection, analysis and reporting to measure marketing performance and inform business strategies. The Marketing Analytics Director is responsible for assembling reporting requirements, determining data to collect, data evaluation and conversion of the data into actionable insights. This position requires reporting and analytic experience with Eloqua, Salesforce and digital marketing platforms in support of B2B lead generation programs that drive leads to inside, field and channel sales organizations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively lead a team of marketing data analysts to collect, analyse and develop reports and insights to meet the needs of multiple cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, product and sales.
In partnership with cross-functional teams, identify KPIs that are most critical to business performance and design solutions to source the necessary data and surface it in meaningful reports.
Develop solutions to deliver overall marketing performance reports on online marketing tactics (includes SEO, PPC, website traffic, email, and social media).
Work closely with key business partners to plan and execute high impact and practical data analytics projects and initiatives.
Develop market segmentation, relative targeting and predictive models to support advanced prospect targeting and engagement.
Partner with digital marketing, web marketing, and lead generation teams to establish and deliver campaign marketing dashboards.
Use applied statistics to business problems, analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable business recommendations.
Leverage the latest analytics technologies to develop tools and resources to enable reporting of historical, current and predictive views of marketing metrics to key stakeholders.
Develop and support marketing attribution performance measurement to support the measurement of marketing contributions and to support financial reports .
Serve as thought leader for marketing analytics, collaborating cross-functionally with other Marketing functional areas, to guide and enable their tactics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Proven capacity for successful leadership including development and management of complex projects and definition of business use cases that map to strategic business goals.
An analytical background that allows the candidate to develop and manage Key Performance Indicators to ensure that performance meets strategy on an ongoing basis.
Reporting and analytics experience with Eloqua, Marketo and Salesforce, web site and digital marketing tactics
Effective business management skills including strong interpersonal, organizational and prioritization skills. Track-record of team development and mentorship.
Experience with large data sets and databases; integrating, coding, preparing for analysis, and analyzing data to draw meaningful conclusions and strategic implications
Fluency with statistical theory and application, including econometrics – regression analysis and multivariate statistics like cluster analysis, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, latent variable models, structural equation modeling, etc. Expertise in additional segmentation or classification techniques and algorithms desired.
Knowledge of and experience with digital marketing, web technologies, marketing automation, analysis/business intelligence and B2B marketing tactics.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Proven track record of identifying, selecting and managing vendor relationships and performance.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment with minimal direction and supervision.
Outstanding visual, verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting information to senior executives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Technology/Business Analytics or equivalent experience
Master’s preferred
