DESCRIPTION:
Company Radio Baltimore is seeking a full-time Live Events & Experiences Director for the Live Events & Experiences/Integrated Marketing Department. This position involves working in a high-energy, fast paced environment assisting in the development, implementation, and execution of integrated & non-traditional marketing programs and events.
This position is on the front line of the Live Events & Experiences sales process, working with AEs to develop custom solutions for clients as well as creating sellable event platforms. This person should have a thorough knowledge of event marketing, media sales and in-depth knowledge of research, marketing and branding. Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is required. Position requires a high level of computer skills and the ability to effectively manage the station(s) non-traditional revenue line (budget/expenses).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified applicants should be dependable, demonstrate a positive attitude, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, possess good communications skills and be able to show good judgement when problem solving on behalf of radio station and clients.
Candidate should be able and willing to work both as a team and independently interfacing with other departments and clients as needed.
• College degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations or related area
• 3-5 years of professional sales or marketing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be well organized with the ability to multi-task while thriving under tight deadlines
