Description
As the HR Business Partner for Global Sourcing and Manufacturing (GSM), you'll act as a partner to functional leadership to set and implement an HR strategy that is aligned with business objectives. In fact, you’ll be responsible for aligning the business and HR strategies to maximize results in support of the organization.
You’ll activate the strategy with senior leaders and COE partners. which will be measured through focused quarterly and annual business reporting. You'll contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes. You'll develop a functional Integrated Talent Strategy that aligns with the broader GSM organization and is focused on ensuring our organization is structured to support our anticipated growth, and then acquiring, moving and developing talent within that structure to champion motivated and high performing teams.
Talent Planning strategies will be aligned to the business plans focused on internal, external, and emerging talent. Partnering with the business and Talent Development will be required on the creation, implementation and leveraging of development programs with a Company (i.e. Manager Excellence) and Function focus.
You'll help the business leaders provide employees with development opportunities and ensure they create a culture of accountability and aligned performance expectations to the strategy. You'll provide expert advice and coaching to leaders and their teams.
You’ll partner with the business to guide the inspiration of the team by assessing and developing org readiness for change. You'll identify and drive the communication and sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
You'll act as a liaison between the business and HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs. You'll drive the execution and delivery of COE processes and programs to the business and identify new opportunities where HR can add value.
You'll ensure that a strong leadership and coaching culture permeates the organization. In addition, you'll manage specific projects as determined in the Strategic Plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Behavioral Sciences or related field or an additional 10 years' experience in lieu of a degree
• 8+ years' experience across all core consultative and administrative areas of HR including Organizational Capability and Planning, Talent Management, Compensation and Total Rewards and Infrastructure
• Direct Organizational Design and Development experience preferred
• Experience working in a global manufacturing environment is a plus
• Strong communication and facilitation skills across all levels
• Ability to develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategy
• Ability to develop and deliver relevant, effective training programs to targeted audiences
