DIRECTOR, GLOBAL MERCHANDISING
As the Director, Global Merchandising you will provide consumer insights and analytics in support of creating CONSUMER RIGHT
ASSORTMENTS for a category at key gates and dates according to the Category Game Plan Calendar.
You will build relationships with key cross-functional business partners including Product Creation, Brand, Sales & Global Demand Planning within the category in addition to merchandising partners in Sportswear and Young Athletes as well as key Geography partners.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or two additional year's experience in lieu of a degree
8 years total experience in merchandising, merchandising support/analytics (e.g., operations, pricing), product creation
High level of merchandising and product acumen
Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis
Proven ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to product, classifications, market/competitors, consumers and channels of distribution
Strategic problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Superior interpersonal skills and ability to influence areas outside of direct control
Strong Leadership experience align strategy and manage team performance
Approximately 25% Travel
