The Director of Global Media is a key member of the Brand Management team. This self-starting and ambitious media professional builds innovative consumer experiences that align with the Reebok brand. He or she will tirelessly maximize the potential of our media plans globally.
The scope of the role includes creation and execution of media campaigns that encompass traditional offline mediums (such as but not limited to TV, Print, OOH) and core digital channels (web, mobile, tablet). The Director of US Media and Digital Marketing is also responsible for the representation of US Reebok Brand messaging on Company website and throughout all Social channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+, Tumblr, Instagram and blogs.) He/She possesses a deep understanding of multi-channel analytics and provides this reporting, along with optimization recommendations to key stakeholders.
The success of the role is measured based on the ability to translate business goals into compelling media/digital campaigns that drive engagement and sales (retail or online). The position requires strong partnership and prioritization skills to manage internal stakeholder’s expectations, a great working knowledge of overall media and digital marketing, measurement, consumer insights, negotiation skills, and a baseline understanding of interactive production. This position directs and leads all US Media, Digital and Social agency resources and represents the Media function as part of the US Marketing and Merchandising leadership team, reporting into the VP of US Marketing and Merchandising.
Key Accountabilities:
• Creates Global media strategy across the organization and rolls out with all markets
• Interfaces with BU’s & Markets to include Paid Media in seasonal planning; and to ensure Paid, Earned and Owned strategy within BU and Market specific campaigns connect via paid components
• Drives budget recommendations and management in order to maximize brand priorities
• Lead the collaboration between the brand and external media partnerships; overseeing negotiations and content creation
• Briefs, directs and manages all Media agency resources
• Evaluates all media plans with a post-analysis; provides this analysis and any recommendations to key stakeholders where appropriate.
• Manages Global Translation agency ensuring adaptation support for tools is executed flawlessly
• Supports Sr. Director of Strategic Planning in strategic comms planning seasonally.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• An exceptional all-rounder with strong media expertise, knowledge and ability
• In depth knowledge of media with a strong working knowledge of digital
• Global media experience
• Experience managing agency resources – briefing, plan development and successful execution and analysis
• Outstanding management and organizational skills; the ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage and motivate a team with limited direction
• Demonstrates influencing and excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Strong computing skills, particularly in excel and power-point for presentation purposes
Qualifications:
• 8-10 years of media and digital experience; at least 5 years in a management role
• Graduate (Bachelors or equivalent) or post graduate degree

In the fall of 2017, the Reebok brand is moving its headquarters to a 220,000 square-foot section of the Innovation and Design Building in Boston’s Seaport District. The move will bring community fitness to a next generation design and innovation space; the all new workplace will foster a vibrant collaborative culture and will allow the brand to be closely connected to the community in Boston. Alongside state-of-the-art office spaces, the headquarters will be equipped with an extensive employee fitness center and a public retail store.
