Purpose
Create, drive and implement a strategic framework for Global Basketball based on the brand strategy framework. Lead BU project management and milestone preparation.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, drive and implement a strategic framework for Global Basketball in close alignment with given brand directions and shape the Global Basketball strategy (incl. consumer strategy)
• Support brand Strategy development
• Co-develop strategy with GM in close alignment with given brand directions
• Act as facilitator between BUs and functions within Brand, ensuring BU insights and requirements are considered in functional strategies (and vice versa)
• Lead and steer BU in building strategic business/financial plans
• Conceptualize and monitor/influence strategic BU projects
• Provide guidance to BU where needed in implementation
• Monitor and influence strategic projects after conceptualization
• Check content alignment of BU collaborations with strategy
• Feedback and facilitate sharing of best practices or improvement ideas
• Brief research needs in close alignment with Brand Strategy to Intelligence Hub
• Lead and manage BU specific project portfolio
• Prepare GM for all brand milestones and other internal and external meetings as required

Key Relationships
• Within Global Basketball
◦ BU GM/first line: Close day-to-day collaboration
• Within the Brand Strategy
◦ Brand Strategy Creation: Close alignment to ensure BU strategy and projects in line with overall strategy (especially close collaboration during SBP/annual strategy planning)
◦ Intelligence Hub: Frequent exchange of BU-relevant insights and collaboration on ad-hoc research for hot topics
◦ Strategy Delivery: Alignment on vertical strategic projects
• Within the Brand Head Office
◦ BU MOPS spoke: to ensure close alignment and collaboration on key BU and Brand milestones
◦ Global Brands project management: to ensure alignment on project portfolio, deliverables for brand milestones, deliverables for Board meetings as required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong financial acumen and financial analysis experience
• Fluent in English
• Strong market and industry awareness
• Good interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage, develop and motivate internal and external project teams
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong conceptual understanding of brand/sub-brand/label building
Qualifications
1. University degree in business/marketing (Master or MBA preferred)
2. Proven experience in cross-functional and collaborative working (matrix organization)
3. Functional: 8+ years of relevant work experience in marketing/brand (experience in finance is a plus)
4. Proven track record across various functions, divisions or sub-labels (3+) respectively
