JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibilities of the Director, Supply Chain Finance are to support the Supply Chain CFO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in the development, implementation, global coordination and communication of strategic initiatives and business processes. The Director, Global Supply Chain Finance will provide detailed reporting and analysis of monthly operating results, with emphasis on cost, service, headcount and support cost analysis. The Finance Director will work closely with the Supply Chain and Coalition Executive Leadership on planning and driving key strategic initiatives. The Finance Director will be leading projects that have significant impact to departments such as sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, product development, operations, distribution, logistics, human resources, direct to consumer, and indirect procurement. To succeed, this individual will utilize both relationship building and strong analytical skill-sets to maintain current and develop new metrics and tracking systems to drive business effectiveness and efficiency across the regions. The position will have managerial responsibilities for a team of finance managers and analysts and will assume a leadership role across the Supply Chain hubs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support GSC leadership with project analysis, WEA preparation, presentations, strategy, etc. Specific focus areas: Manufacturing - Be a financial partner in the development of the 5-year Global Optimized Strategy (GOS). Provide WEA support for expansion projects, analyze COGS data, and participate in forecast for future projections of COGS, spending, and supply. Sourcing: liaison to hubs and provides analytics related to GOS, Procurement - provide support for material
cost, forecasting and planning, as well as support Indirect Procurement initiatives; Strategy - support S&OP, DTC, GOS, FME, and PFF
2. Be a key partner in the execution of the 5-year Global Supply Chain Strategy including creating KPI’s and tools to track the progress of the projects. Participate as part of the transformational office in ensuring that deadlines are meet and savings are achieved. Develop key strategy reporting to track spending and savings associated with the project.
3. Responsible for the development, production, and review of all GSC operational and financial reports (includes inventory reports, SC Forum reports, Quarterly Review, Board Prep, Analyst Prep, etc.).
4. Assist the CFO with managing and/or coordinate the budgeting process for the following: 1) Panama Sourcing, Procurement and Internal Manufacturing, 2) Central Supply Chain Operations, 3) Asia Sourcing, and 4) the Assumption Reviews (Development & Managing Scheduling Conflicts).
5. Responsible for participating in Monthly Financial Reviews with all coalitions to ensure proper financial reporting of SC related items - includes follow up on issues identified (Development & Managing Scheduling Conflicts).
6. Monitor activity in GSC cost centers to ensure accurate reporting and update the forecast for these cost centers monthly to reflect expected performance with financial reporting deadlines.
7. Develop reporting tools to identify unusual or unexpected monthly financial results & forecasts within the Coalitions in a timely manner and provide explanations to the Corporate Finance group.
8. Assist in tax projects, acquisition integration, training of Coalition supply chain support, etc.
9. Maintains, publishes, analyzes and enhances reporting related to product cost, inventory, service, project tracking, etc.
10. Attend monthly financial reviews and balance sheet reviews and ownership of Global Supply Chain Ops/Risks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Years of Related Professional Experience:
10+ years of experience
Educational/Position Requirements:
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, or other related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience
• MBA or CPA preferred
SKILLS:
• Financial and performance analysis experience & strong financial skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Project Planning
• Strong financial modeling skills, especially income statement and cash flow analysis
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Outstanding PC skills in Microsoft environment, including spreadsheet, database, word processing and presentation capabilities
• Ability to work closely with the Finance and Operations staffs while driving a results-oriented culture and an atmosphere of accountability
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment & to be a team player
• Highly organized & achievement-oriented
• Self-starter, able to handle multiple demands & competing priorities
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
• Ability to effectively present findings to management in a clear and concise manner
