Responsibilities
The Digital Enterprises Group is dedicated to building new digital businesses. The team will lead the company’s digital business strategy, forge partnerships with new media and technology companies and head our efforts to deliver premium content to emerging platforms.
Role Purpose
Responsible for managing financial analysis and forecasting for the NBCU streaming SVOD service, Seeso as well as other Digital Enterprises budget areas and investments. This role will have significant interaction with department heads and executive leaders, particularly through the budget and estimate cycles. In addition, the director will participate in /coordinate ad hoc projects as requested.
Strategic analysis and financial modeling will be necessary as the Digital Enterprises group establishes and expand its portfolio of digital partnerships both internally and externally. Director will interface with digital finance counterparts across the company
Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation and maintenance of budgets, estimates and long-range plan, including expenses, operating cash flow and free cash flow. This critical role, reporting to the Vice President of Finance, provides the unique opportunity to obtain an in-depth perspective of managing and growing a new digital business launched last year (Seeso) and to be an integral part of driving digital growth for Company through our new Digital Enterprises organization.
Directly manage efforts and work of analyst/senior analyst level staff
Develop streamlined forecasting and financial tracking tools to enhance financial management of the budget including the green-lighting process
Review and assess production cost reporting for the various Seeso-funded productions
Partner with senior management in tracking expenses, making strategic decisions and identifying cost savings opportunities. Assist in driving efficiency and accountability across groups and drive effective financial forecasting
Liaise with other key NBCU business stakeholders on other areas of Digital investments and partnerships managed in part by Digital Enterprises
Manage closing process including coordination with Accounting, pacing, variance analysis reporting
Act as day-to-day liaison and partner to department heads and coordinators, developing good working relationships
Manage some operational controllership matters, such as financial approval of medium size payments and Purchase card expenses
Manage efforts and direct work of analyst/senior analyst level staff
Identify opportunities to create value-added financial analysis
Participate in other ad hoc projects
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Finance and Accounting
Eligibility Requirements
Must be willing to work in New York, NY (Company City, CA considered)
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18 years or older

Proven track record developing excellent working relationships with finance and non-finance people
Strong oral and written communication skills and experience interfacing with multiple levels of management ranging from senior corporate executives to business unit managers and third parties
Flexibility, independence, and initiative to perform successfully in a growing and constantly changing environment
Solid mix of FP&A, Business Partnership and Operational Controllership. Knowledge of production finance a plus
Experience with SAP Accounting/ Business Warehouse and BPC Software a Plus
