Purpose Of The Job:
Support and strengthen revenue and profitability while supporting the company goals through the discovery and delivery of innovative digital experiences that support shopping across the entire customer journey (both online and in stores). Partner with all key stakeholders, especially Retail Stores, IT, Visual Design and Marketing departments to build alignment and collaboration necessary to design and deliver best in class digital solutions that drive sales while elevating the brand and empowering store associates. Execute “best in class” in eCommerce product management methodology. Any reference to the term “product” refers to changes in site functionality, interface, services or other initiatives / ideas that touch the sites. It does not refer to merchandise.
Responsibilities/Duties:
• Lead a product team to constantly improve key performance indicators and the customer experience in line with the overall vision for digital products and experiences.
• Manage all aspects of performance and development of direct reports to encourage professional growth and associate satisfaction.
• Lead a defined area or product(s)’ definition and delivery schedule.
• Manage the product backlog and opportunity backlog to consistently innovate in ways that improve the business
• Establish and conduct continual discovery cycles for the product that maximizes customer insight, site data, industry trends and the full resources of the product team.
• Create and foster a team dynamic that is motivated to improve the customer experience, product scorecard and key performance indicators.
• Support site search optimization, external search engine optimization (“natural”) and paid search marketing.
• Support site operations, including all site changes and hosting, to ensure eCommerce growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Provide leadership and mentoring for other product managers to foster a supportive environment of learning.
• Continually bring new methodologies and techniques to improve product quality and speed to market. Manage vendors and partners to maximize the ROI and profitability while continually bringing innovative features to our customers.
• Act as the liaison between the eCommerce Department, Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels.
• Help define “best practice” eCommerce work flow processes (i.e. discovery and delivery) to ensure product delivery meets quality standards, is on time and on budget. Possess a complete understanding of the performance of the product and of the entire site by creating, monitoring and sharing product scorecards and KPIs.
• Work closely with management and the product team to define a compelling product, a path to market, and evangelize that vision within the team and across the company.
• Identify, evaluate and recommend external vendors to support vision and roadmap where appropriate and manage vendor relationships include contract negotiation and renewals.
• Prioritize all defects associated with the product and/or that are impacting customers with appropriate urgency and consideration of current backlog.
• Continue to refine product backlog based on performance metrics, customer feedback and live testing.
Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes:
• 10 + years of eCommerce experience, including product management, mobile and app specific experience with at least 7 + of the 10 years with experience directly managing people and their performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
• Project Management Institute certification a plus
• Project management skills and the ability to research and coordinate information efficiently
• Extensive knowledge of B-to-C and B-to-B eCommerce best practices and strategies
• Strong understanding of web design, programming and analytics tools
• Ability to maintain flexibility
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Platform and Omniture Site Catalyst
• Possess a deep understanding of product management, project management and agile tools and approaches to lead product teams delivering innovative features that improve the business.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
• Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
• Ability to acquire work/travel documents (i.e., passport and visa) as required by various countries.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to present to Executive Team, excellent attention to detail, highly-organized and ability to multi-task

Mental Functions:
Decisions have major implications on the management and operations of an area within a department. Job may contribute to important strategy, operational, and business decisions that affect the department. This position establishes procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives in a broad area of work. Only the final results of work done are typically reviewed.
Physical Functions:
Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer.
Equipment Used:
Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.
Work Environment:
Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Yes – 3-5 direct reports
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English. Additional languages a plus.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional Domestic Travel
