Director, Digital Marketing, Company - North America
Description
Develop, execute and manage best in class national and coop digital marketing programs to promote brand awareness and drive retail sales. Manage digital budget, timelines and drive creative production for asset development.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Digital Strategy and Execution
• Develop, plan and execute extensive digital programs (i.e., new launch programs, value added, coop, promotions and social media). Liaise with Marketing, Public Relations, Legal and Special Events Departments to provide all elements needed to successfully rollout each initiative.
• Develop value added digital programs (i.e., events, retailer initiatives, research) by coordinating the efforts of national and coop campaigns. Ensure digital programs are tracking on budget.
• Responsible for driving search strategy in North America by collaborating with global marketing and e-commerce to drive synergy.
• Drive CRM email strategy with retailer online partners – develop assets, implement concepts and report results.
• Manage US, Canadian and PR digital plans to ensure their adherence to guidelines set by marketing strategy. Responsible for working closely with global marketing to develop assets.
Digital Agency and Media Company Liaison
• Work with third party Digital Media companies to build on-line advertising packages for co-op advertising with Retail Partners. Facilitate the shift from traditional to on-line ad campaigns in-line with company objectives and strategies.
• Continuously investigate, evaluate and recommend new media opportunities complete with costs and supportive evidence to facilitate marketing objectives.
• Manage relationships with digital agencies. Serve as contact for North America and retailer coop digital advertising.
Digital Innovation and Media Effectiveness
• Compile all On-line Media program results from national and co-op campaigns. Provide program updates and reporting to field and internal departments.
• Maintain Department digital file for campaigns, trends and new technology.
• Attend digital industry events to capture new trends in the digital space.
Qualifications
• Position requires 10+ years related experience.
• Undergraduate degree required.
• Background within cosmetics, luxury preferred. Agency experience required.
• Must be an excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of the Global Marketing team and cross-functional teams.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with un-prompted follow-through.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
