Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Director, Development will develop new series for the studio. He or she will report to the two SVPs of Development.
Responsibilities
Identify new material and talent to bring in to UCP
Track needs of all buyers, help formulate pitches, and help set pitches at all networks
Assist in guiding and managing our UCP pods, as well as other talent working at UCP
Provide notes on story, outline and script for projects in development
Seek out new pools of talent for UCP with the potential for future development in all areas scripted
On set oversight of projects in production
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years industry experience
Proficiency with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Office, PowerPoint
Eligibility Requirements

Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
Must be willing to work in Company City, CA.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years or older.

Knowledge of basic web technology
