Job Purpose
Sourcing and origination of Debt Capital Markets transactions for clients ensuring an appropriate level of deal throughput to achieve groups financial and league table targets. Responsible for ensuring structuring, marketing and execution of originated transactions
Impact on the Business/Function
• Strategy: Debt Capital Markets Capital Financing and leading delivery of regional and global strategy in specified product group.
• Manage the use of customer insight and intelligence to build a better understanding of client needs, ensuring we take full advantage of Company’s strong market position and translate that into positive actions.
• Operations: Implementation of all Capital Financing operational plans and priorities, to drive delivery of the agreed strategy.
• Commercial: Managing strong commercial goals and objectives at regional and global level; ensuring that there are strategic plans are in place to achieve all.
• Proposition: Manage the implementation of competitive customer propositions and products that are appropriate for Capital Financing business areas and ensure that they are aligned with wider Capital Financing strategy.
• Delivery/Execution: Carrying out activities in order to achieve specified service standards, results and outputs.
• Strategic guidance and ensure the teams have the appropriate technical and product linked skills.
• Ensure that all Capital Financing procedures are adhered to and refined and ensure that strong working relationships are developed and maintained with all other Business Support and functional teams.
•Reaching commercial goals and objectives at regional and global level; ensuring that there are strategic plans are in place to achieve all.
Customers / Stakeholders
• Deliver the strategic plans for acquiring, growing and developing customer relationships in specified product group.
• Customer Relationship Management: networking, developing and nurturing specific customers, anticipating and identifying their needs.
• Ensuring the business operates using accepted Global and Local standards, processes and principles.
• Regulator/external and Internal bodies: building and maintaining relationships with external and Internal partners, Regulators, industry bodies and others to keep up to date with developments
• Internal Customer management and monitoring: defining and agreeing ways of working, anticipating and identifying their needs.
• Develops close and effective working relationships with nominated Senior employees within respective Regions/Countries/Functions/Global Businesses to ensure common understanding of critical issues and strategic response framework.
• Help ensure all team members are credible professionals in order to deliver appropriate and sustainable outcomes from and for customers.
• Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.

Observation of Internal Controls
The jobholder will adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures.
The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators. The jobholder will implement measures to contain compliance risk across the business area. This will be achieved by liaising with Compliance department about business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
• Seasoned contributor with 5+ years Debt Capital Markets experience in the Fixed Income market.
• Solid market and product knowledge.
• Client relationships and execution experience in specified product is highly preferred.
• Experience working in international markets and at large international firm.
• Undergraduate degree in business or finance
