Position Overview:
As the Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will lead the Corporate FP&A team , reporting to the Vice President of FP&A &Growth Finance. You will contribute to the success of Company by driving and monitoring Company Corporation’s financial planning and analysis processes, including the annual operating plan, monthly reporting against plans and quarterly forecasts and lead the consolidation of all planning outcomes.
Your Key Areas of Responsibilities Include:
- Work directly with the VP, FP&A and Growth to set the strategy for how financial planning and analysis data is collected and consolidated to allow effective analysis to support the strategic plan.
- Directly supervise and develop the corporate FP&A staff responsible for the company’s corporate and consolidated planning and reporting activities.
- Advise Global Data Services organization on FP&A reporting requirements of the company's consolidated Finance Systems - EPM planning system, consolidation system, and enterprise financial reporting system (HFM and planning).
- Establish and communicate Financial Planning deadlines and assumptions for the company’s business units and corporate functions.
- Develop and implement standardized and consistent planning and operational reports and processes, including development of financial and non-financial reporting measurements or key performance indicators, where necessary.
- Prepare and analyze the financial component of the Company’s consolidated annual operating and strategic plans and quarterly reforecasts including overseeing the summarization of such for presentation to executive management and the company’s Board of Directors.
- Establish the process and support the analysis of the financial performance of the company’s non-business unit functions, identify significant trends and variations from plans/reforecasts and historical actual results and communicate findings, along with potential solution sets to executive management and the related operating unit/department.
- Work directly with the Finance Executive team and cross-functionally to address projected accounting or financial issues identified through the company’s various planning processes and, where appropriate, contributes to the resolution of such issues and ensures appropriate presentation of the issues in the Company’s financial projections.
- Serve as corporate finance’s primary resource for the execution of ad-hoc financial projects, including the preparation of financial models to analyse the company's financial information, and including any corporate financial reporting requirements, as necessary.
- Oversee the consolidation and analysis of the Company’s planned and actual global SG&A costs and provides analysis of such spending to division, department and executive management.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 7 years’ of relevant work experience.
- Software Proficiency:
◦ Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint).
◦ Data Analytics reporting/visualization tools (such as: PowerBI).
◦ Financial Systems/ERP's – Hyperion.
- Leadership:
◦ Leading and influencing others.
- Communication Skills:
◦ Ability to clearly & succinctly articulate large amounts of technical data into actionable outcomes.
- Working knowledge of:
◦ Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
◦ Sarbanes-Oxley.
◦ Foreign Currencies.
◦ Transformational activities in FP&A.
◦ Experience working in a global matrixed organization.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Advanced degree (such as: MBA ).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for four (4) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Travel and local commute between Company locations and other possible non-Company locations may be required.
- Hiring Salary Range: $123,000 – $191,245 USD*. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
- This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
