PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Director, Corporate Financial Systems will be responsible for managing financial planning and reporting systems along with the oversight of Master Data Management organization. The Director will initially manage the legacy planning and reporting systems (SAP ECC and Oracle PBCS), while partnering with the SAP/FMS team to ultimately transition to our new corporate systems (SAP S4 and BPC). The Director will need to manage and administer the technical aspects of our financial systems while also being able to leverage solid financial accounting and analytical skills. The Director must be a detail-oriented self-starter, while also being resourceful and having excellent communications skills.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in financial systems to:
• Manage the standardized consolidation of financial reporting throughout the current global Company, Inc. finance organization. Manage the processes for: GAAP/external, Non-GAAP/management, Company Brand and Stuart Weitzman Brand reporting.
• Lead initiatives to implement enhanced reporting and planning solutions and standards. Adjust requirements as Company, Inc. evolves/adds brands.
• Maintain training programs for all systems users.
• Manage the systems and business processes for submission, consolidation and reporting of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Quarterly Outlook (QO), Sales/Margin/Inventory forecasts (SMI) and Long Range Plan (LRP).
• Partner with business and technical partners to define application designs.
• Initially manage staff of 2 professionals for supporting consolidations/forecasting (including PBCS Work Force).
• Initially manage staff of 2 professionals for supporting Master Data Management.
• Partner with Control team for external reporting requirements.
• Partner with SAP/FMS team to develop future organization needed to support SAP S4/BPC for current and potential future acquired brands.
• Support efficient integration of potential new brands.
The accomplished individual will possess:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience within a multi-brand public company environment.
• BS or graduate degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Accounting/Finance.
• Hands-on experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and consolidations systems (such as SAP ECC, SAP FMS, Oracle PBCS, Oracle Hyperion, HFM and Essbase).
• Experience with global retail and wholesale operations.
• Ability to quickly identify systems solutions for reporting and forecasting processes – continuously assessing opportunities for streamlining and standardization.
• Exceptional analytical, logical and critical reasoning.
• Excellent communications skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the finance and systems organizations within all brands and corporate.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in fast-paced, growth-oriented and complex organizations.
• Ability to adapt to changing organization processes and priorities.
• Ability to manage change and process improvements effectively.
