Position summary:Company’s Director of Communications will execute communications efforts related to all content – film, television, VR and digital.
Responsibilities:
• Act as media contact for business, trade and consumer press in content related matters.
• Attend and handle Company executives at red carpets, in speaking roles and for other public appearances.
• Act as a contact for Participant Film partner publicists, filmmakers, talent and industry organizations.
• Maintain and grow press relationships for the company.
• Work closely with Participant Events team on all film-related screenings, premieres and other events to manage executives, press and VIPs.
• Work with PR agency or other vendor relationships, as needed.
• Work with EVP and SVP of Communications to:
-Support overall corporate marketing and communications, brand and publicity.
-Oversee unit publicist and unit photography of films in production.
-Assist in managing corporate and publicity materials.
• Manage PR assets (stills, EPK footage, etc.) for Participant films/content in production and through theatrical release and Social Impact campaigns.
• Other duties / special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Agency experience preferred, not required.
• Creative thinking.
• Experience working on Social Impact campaigns tied to a film or corporate initiative
• 7+ years’ experience in communications.

• SVP, Publicity and Corporate Communications
