Position Description Overview
The Business Development Director – Prepaid, Walmart Team will lead a functional area responsible for management and growth of Company’s Open Loop business within Walmart. This role is responsible for driving growth and profitability within the program by identifying and executing strategic business development and relationship building with the client. This requires analyzing the changing market dynamics and partnering with the functional areas within Company to ensure alignment of goals and objectives and acts as the central point of contact for the organization. This position is empowered to ensure that FDC is poised to develop, implement and support the business development opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible and accountable for the strategic identification of business development initiatives expected over the next 3-5 years. This requires analyzing the changing market dynamics, determining and delivering the strategy business development initiatives for superior market positioning. This position is empowered to ensure that FDC is poised to develop, implement and support the business development opportunities.
• Develop and coordinate new idea reviews and recommendations, concept and design development, project management, and market introduction.
• This position has the authority to direct all business development efforts while ensuring alignment with overall business strategy/benefit/objectives.
• 4 year Degree required. Master's Degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in related Business Development Industry/Roles.
• Open Loop Prepaid experience preferred.
Scope of Job
Work may directly impact any or all FDC business groups in terms of operational, financial or general business strategy. Work may directly impact external client service/relationships and company position in the market.
Autonomy
Ability to work with little or no supervision. May require senior management consultation regarding most complex development recommendations.
Job Requirements
• 4 year degree required. Master's a plus. Minimum of 4 years in a consulting role with FDC Product and/or Business group.
