Responsibilities
The Family Marketing Director is responsible for taking a proactive lead in the strategic development and management of all Marketing efforts on Family titles to meet Company Pictures Home Entertainment’s product and brand objectives. They are the experts in the home entertainment category and the champions of their brands, titles, and promotions. The Director oversees the P & L and all planning and execution of the marketing plans. In this process, the Director collaborates with cross-functional partners such as Digital Marketing, Publicity, Sales, Creative, Finance, Legal, Media and Operations, as well as synergy partners within Company and external promotional partners in order to maximize the sales potential of each release.
Job Duties
Responsible for developing marketing strategies and plans to meet Company’s financial and business objectives for the home entertainment category
Partner with Sales teams to develop insights-driven retail programs that drive sell-through and ensure ROI
Oversee franchise lifecycle strategy for UPHE’s Family portfolio, including Illumination Entertainment and Mattel film properties
Monitor activities of competitors and industry trends on an ongoing basis. Utilize consumer insights to recommend and initiate strategy to maximize market opportunities.
Lead Domestic Family Marketing team who develop and implement title-specific marketing plans including: target market, street date, communication strategy, pricing, volume, research, promotions and trade marketing plan
Collaborate with all internal and external partners to maximize all marketing opportunities and ensure successful execution
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS required
Minimum 6 years of brand or consumer marketing experience with a demonstrated ability to proactively lead initiatives and drive results to make a positive difference at a consumer-centric organization.
Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team.
Exceptional communicator and presenter with the ability to build relationships and influence teams
Strategic thinking and analytical abilities
Strong project planning and organizational skills
Comprehensive problem-solving abilities
Creative thinking and ability to collaborate in a creative environment
