From concept to creation—no matter the medium or brand —our work is measured against a tradition of unrivaled storytelling. That’s a high standard, but so is our ambition: to connect the most discerning audience with the world’s leading brands. Our sales team is looking to grow our Midwest territory by adding a Sales Director in Chicago to join our dynamic brand and sell advertising partnerships across The Atlantic’s digital and print properties.

• Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of the market, categories, advertising business, and trends
• Serve as a representative of The Atlantic brand in a positive, convincing, and enthusiastic manner
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals. Experience selling native/custom content campaigns is an added benefit.
• Senior level relationships on both agency and client side - ideally in the Midwest region
• Ability to take ownership and work independently to meet aggressive performance goals
• Outstanding professional record of achievement
• Excellent and persuasive communication skills, including an ability to invent and deliver convincing arguments through spoken and written word
• Strong interpersonal skills and strength in building lasting relationships internally and externally
Company Values:
Across Company, generally, the firm looks for two “pillar gifts” in its candidates. In all of us, these are more aspirational than actual, but they are central in our intentions.
Force of Intellect - Company seeks a discipline and rigor of thought as manifested, often, in exceptional academic performance and, later, success in a professional environment.
Spirit of Generosity - Equally, Company seeks what we term a spirit of generosity – a natural disposition towards service and selfless conduct.
Company is an EOE of Minorities/Women/Vets/Disability.
