SUMMARY
Company’s Experience team is seeking a Digital Supply Chain Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our Digital Supply Chain Operations team. As a Digital Supply Chain Specialist at Company, you will champion quality by maintaining an atypically high quality bar for content in line with Company’s mission to deliver the best experience to Company viewers. The right person for this role has a strong attention to detail, is comfortable with video and metadata quality control, is a very fast-learner and is great at communicating both technical and non-technical information to internal teams and external partners. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Perform quality assurance of video, audio and closed captions
• Track scheduled deliveries from content owners (e.g. Disney and HBO) during nights / weekends
• Ensure timely publishing of videos assets under strict schedules and deadlines
• Proofread, edit, research, enhance and maintain accuracy of metadata on the Company app
• Fix content-related issues on the Company app
• Troubleshoot technical video, XML and closed captions issues
• Test, track and report content issues from Company’s content partners
• Maintain style conventions and accuracy of metadata on the Company app
• Work independently as well as alongside Company’s Content, Product and Engineering teams
• Proactively learn and provide feedback on tools and operations
WHAT TO BRING
• A minimum of 2 years digital video experience
• Strong understanding of technical video and audio specifications (e.g. video bitrates and codecs)
• Understanding of closed captions and subtitles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Obsessive attention to detail
• Ability to work without supervision, escalating when needed
• Willingness to work flexible hours in order to meet occasional deadlines
• Ability to prioritize, track and resolve issues concurrently
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Video or related degree
• Spanish language proficiency
