Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity for someone with a real passion for digital media and how content lives and breathes online to join one of the world’s most iconic entertainment businesses and play an integral role in the digital transformation of the advertising sales division. The role focusses on harnessing the power of NBCU’s digital and social media footprint to maximize digital ad sales revenues.
Qualifications/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with Digital team to develop strategic partnership road-map and revenue model (key concepts and opportunities).
• Work with key advertising technology and programmatic partners to maximize automated digital trading and campaign delivery
• Work with NBCU’s creative solution sales team to conceive and develop innovative digital proposals that explicitly fulfil the client’s objectives stand out in a highly competitive market.
• Liaise with the operations team to ensure effective and campaign delivery and collation of post campaign analysis to prospect and secure repeat business
• Assist and educate local market sales teams with digital initiative and partner roll-out
• Collaborate with team and numerous internal constituents and external parties to develop appealing and profitable proposals for advertising clients across multiple categories, brands, and verticals
• Have deep understanding of an expansive set of advertisers in the marketplace
• Work closely with Content and Ad Sales Operations to proactively assess demand and opportunity for new products and enhancements
• Provide leadership to Ad Sales on emerging online and advertising trends, technological capabilities, and competitive practices.
• Work with the research team to use a full suite of data, analytics and audience monitoring tools to identify key target accounts and provide clients with audience information and market
Candidate Specifications
• Proven work experience and success in related Media/Entertainment industry
• An ambitious self-starter with a passion for digital, in particular video and social media and how advertisers can engage audiences with content online
• Strong digital account management experience – ideally with a LATAM focus
• A basic understanding of programmatic and digital ad delivery technologies
• Strong knowledge of the digital media sector with an interest in the convergence of digital and traditional media
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerate, commercially astute and able to formulate and execute complex multi-territory digital deals
• Extremely strong writing skills and deck creation skills
• Creative and strategic thinker who can explore new ideas and evaluate them to strike a balance between a positive user experience, success metrics, and monetary effectiveness
• Strong background in digital, mobile, and emerging technologies
• Exceptional multi-tasker who thrives in deadline-driven environment
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe Photoshop
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English required.
