We are currently looking for a:
Digital Media Specialist
Reporting to the Manager, Customer Acquisition, the Digital Media Specialist provides support for all online marketing activities for both the Company and Dynamite brands, is responsible for the day-to-day management of key initiatives and projects, and participates in strategy development to increase traffic, sales and GM$.
The Specialist has an in-depth understanding of the online space and is passionate about digital marketing. In addition, the Specialist has proven capabilities in multiple digital channels, including affiliate, paid search, display, social media, etc., and is adept at using Google Analytics, including building custom reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will participate in the development and implementation of all digital media (SEM, Affiliate, Display, etc.) and ensure plans are in line with the campaign goals, the overall acquisition strategy and the revenue targets per channel.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely with E-commerce management team for strategic planning and prioritization of initiatives;
• Manage creative campaigns for the acquisition channels by selecting images, determining messaging hierarchy and collaborating with Creative department on the design of banners and landing page;
• Help provide E-comm analysis on performance of channels, identifying and diagnosing issues (decrease in traffic, revenue, etc.);
• Ensure all external partners (agencies, affiliates, etc.) have all assets for campaigns in a timely manner (i.e. coupon codes, banners, landing page links, etc.);
• Responsible for ensuring growth of traffic, revenue, conversion rate and revenue per visitor;
• Identify trends in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly results, and provide analysis and recommendations for optimizations;
• Collaborate and help manage our digital agencies in all paid digital media spend and activity (SEO, SEM, Display, Affiliates, etc.);
• Build, update and communicate the promotional calendar for both banners;
• Regularly monitor and audit affiliate sites and paid search, as well as QA on links, landing environments, coupon codes, etc.;
• Research, analyze and report on competition’s e-marketing activities in the affiliate, paid search and display advertising channels and make recommendations based on best industry practices;
• Explore opportunities for new initiatives and partnerships;
• Perform internet searches on apparel, competitors and brand-specific keywords;
• Collaborate with the E-commerce team and any other department to support new projects and initiatives;
• Undertake ongoing administrative tasks such as invoicing, promotional code creation, reporting, etc.
Qualifications and competencies:
• Undergraduate degree (90 credits) with a focus on Marketing, Finance or E-commerce preferred;
• 2-5 years of experience within a digital marketing agency or E-commerce with an emphasis in digital marketing;
• Experience with handling media budgets and assessing value;
• Experience with at least one of the digital marketing channels: SEM, SEO, Display, Affiliate Marketing (emphasis on SEM);
• Ability to understand marketing data and summarize in meaningful way for business goals;
• Analytical, data driven;
• Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills;
• Highly developed interpersonal team player communication skills;
• Proactive and solution oriented;
• Adapts easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities;
• Bilingual: French & English (written and spoken).
