Entercom Rochester seeks a dynamic, self-motivated Digital Media Coordinator with strong internet-based project management experience, skills in graphic design and web site design and online asset maintenance.
As a Digital Media Coordinator you’ll be responsible for implementing the ongoing development of radio station websites Company website, Company website, Company website, Company website, Company website and Company website, station streams, on-demand and podcast content, and station app and email databases. You’ll also be responsible for performing day-to-day site maintenance on station sites, performing quality-control for third party content, maintaining and developing small web applications, consumer direct targeted emails, compiling digital analytics, and serving as a social media expert, providing consulting to Program and Promotions Directors.
Project management experience, including the ability to provide oversight and direction on multiple online activities from inception to completion, is a must. This includes coordinating with other content providers to prioritize work, educating content updaters and managing resource allocation. Effective organizational, research, problem-solving and resolution skills are key for success. Familiarity with streaming media, social media, and online video is necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of experience working with content management systems (including WordPress)
• 3+ years of experience using graphic programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• 3+ years of experience using social media networks (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram)
• 3+ years in social media strategy and content development, including knowledge of social network advertising guidelines
• 3+ years of email marketing experience
• 3+ years of project management skills and proven ability to train, assist and delegate non-web experts in updating sites
• 3+ years of thorough knowledge of browser compatibility issues for all platforms/major browsers is also a must
• 2+ years of experience with streaming media, online video, and online multimedia applications in general
ABILITY TO:
• Take a leadership role in driving stations’ digital presence and vision
• Work effectively in time-sensitive situations and meet deadlines; coordinate multiple projects and complex tasks simultaneously
• Pay attention to detail, and troubleshoot user-friendliness and technical issues
• Execute dynamic design solutions for web or print using programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Develop various types of digital media for programming and promotions, with a business-to-consumer mindset
• Provide training and technical support to departmental staff and ensure appropriate training of staff and end users
• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with others
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative with minimal supervision
