The digital media analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of metrics from various media delivery systems to support the digital optimization team in the management of advertising campaigns. Working with various data interfaces and analytic platforms, the Digital Media Analyst will develop regular and ad-hoc reports, analyze trends, summarize and present findings, and make recommendations to internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a Google Analytics and Excel expert with a love of data and a passion for digital media. He or she is a strategic, analytical thinker, is results and detail oriented, with a background in data analysis. Success in this role will require a great
attention to detail, enthusiasm, drive for efficiency, and experience collaborating in a team environment.
In this role, you will:
• Extract data to develop reports that provide insight and visualization into campaign performance relative to KPIs, projections and historical statistics.
• Perform analysis and provide recommendations to teams to make smart decisions
based on data, not assumptions, to drive measurable results.
• Analyze, develop and distribute performance data analytics and regularly reviews and recommends revisions to increase effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Use ad serving and analytics platforms to implement, analyze, and report on Paid Media campaigns for clients across multiple verticals
• Develop Display, Digital Video, Native, Email, Paid Search, Paid Social and Web analytics skills to synthesize insights and aid in implementation of optimizations
• Manage tagging and tracking via Google Analytics. Audit tags before launch and metrics after launch to ensure accurate tracking. Identify and facilitate resolution of tagging issues.
• Measuring and analyzing cross-channel customer experiences, from social media, display ads, search marketing, e-mail, websites and offline sources.
• Update, compile, format, and summarize information to create spreadsheets, graphs and
narratives for departmental presentations
• Perform problem analysis by investigating the root causes, summarizing findings for internal and external use and determining corrective actions to resolve them
• Support implementation of new orders and customer accounts

Here’s what you need to have:
• Impeccable organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Microsoft Office knowledge – advanced PowerPoint and Excel preferred
• Digital Media industry knowledge, with understanding of digital advertising, digital media strategy, ad placement type, and standard media metrics
• Google Analytics and AdWords Certification preferred
• Strong analytical and math skills with an ability to translate numbers into meaningful information.
• Effective communication skills, including ability to read, write and comprehend clear and
concise reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to clients and employees.
