Job DescriptionThe Digital Marketing Analyst’s primary responsibility will be the analysis and reporting of results across our brand websites and digital media activations with a focus on delivering and presenting actionable insights to key stakeholders that will help to aide decision making.
We are searching for candidates who are experienced with defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing conclusions from our web analytics tool and other data sources. You will be working in a cross-functional capacity, including with external agencies and internal functional teams, to provide business and functional/technical insights.
Google Analytics 360/Adobe Analytics: As our primary analytics tool you will manage the condition of each brand account constantly making sure that the data is as accurate as possible. You will be the gatekeeper for each user who accesses the brand accounts and be the main contact for questions and data requests. Experience with attribution modelling and multi-channel data analysis is preferable.
Tracking and measurement: you will be the resident brand expert across Google’s technology products and have experience of working with Google’s technology products including Doubleclick, GA, Webmaster Tools and AdWords (*campaign management experience not required). You will have a working understanding of ad tech stacks, particularly around programmatic display; providing analysis of digital brand activations on a seasonal and campaign basis.
Data visualization: you will be the resident brand expert for data visualization expert utilizing both enterprise visualization tools and Excel to create easy to digest graphical representations of complex information.
Business Reporting: you will be tasked to produce weekly/monthly/quarterly & yearly reports that will be used to monitor the performance of the brand websites and digital brand activations. The channels/functions you will work across includes but is not limited to: PPC, SEO, Email and CRM, Social Media, Display, Digital Partnerships. The ability to understand correlations between data sets, path to conversion and present recommendations for optimal media mixes will be integral to the role.
Business Insights: Upon request and proactively delve into the performance data to provide both insights and recommendations that will help drive decision making.
Training: Provide access to analytics tools and training to internal stakeholders.
User Experience: Supporting our UX lead, you will be available to provide insights as required to support the ongoing development of our internal user experience program.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Doubleclick suite
• 3 years’ experience within an analytical role.
• Experience working within eCommerce.
• Experience within retail sector beneficial.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to take key insights from complex data sets to tell a simple, meaningful stories
• Attribution and/or mix media modelling experience
