DESCRIPTION:
DESCRIPTION: Company Radio Boston is looking for a full time digital content producer to contribute to music, entertainment, and local lifestyle content and initiatives on its FM music station websites. The selected candidate will also be responsible for integrating programming and promotional content and initiatives from Mix 104.1, 103.3 AMP Radio, and 100.7 WZLX, as assigned by the digital content director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Write targeted, timely, and relevant content for station target demographics with an emphasis on local content.
• Work with Company national content teams to coordinate content syndication
• Contribute to social media posts for all 3 Company Boston music stations
• Monitor social media activity and reporting
• Take photos and video of in-studio and out of studio events as assigned
• Use SEO strategies when producing content to maximize traffic benefits
• Employ content seeding strategies to increase new user engagement
• Work with on-air and off-air talent to contribute to the site
• Track engagement metrics for programming guidance
• Support station e-mail and text platform initiatives
• Work with digital, programming, and marketing teams to increase user / listener awareness of the site and site initiatives
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
• Knowledge and passion for music and entertainment news
• Working knowledge of the Boston metropolitan area preferred
• Demonstrated content judgment and editorial standards
• Social media knowledge and practice
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) knowledge and practice
• Must have excellent organizational skills and possess the ability to multitask
• Experience in a fast-paced, multi-station broadcast environment preferred
• A minimum of 2-6 years of online content production experience required
• Knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere (or similar video editing software) and a working knowledge of HTML
Position is Boston based and reports to the music Digital Content Director.
