We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Manager to join our innovative TOPSHOP Digital team. We are looking for an experienced producer and team manager with a strong understanding of the Topshop brand and all its digital channels.
THE ROLE
As the Digital Content Manager at Company website you will be a part of the online editorial team and report to the Senior Digital Editor and Digital Director. This role requires you to lead a team of four direct reports – Shoot Production Coordinator, Digital Video Coordinator, Digital Video Assistant and the Digital Fashion Assistant – and work closely with both the creative and trading teams to help create, plan and align assets across all digital channels and the wider business.
The role focuses on overseeing end-to-end production of content such as stills and moving image, as briefed by the creative team, to be used online, in store and by 3rd party traders. The role also supports the editorial team with content for features and homepage product stories, whilst working very closely with buying and merchandising teams to drive sales through planning and product selection.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Oversee and manage the production of photography and film requirements for the brand, working closely with the creative, online trading, marketing, press, instore and social teams.
• Oversee all UK and international shoot production of still and moving image content - both remotely and on set - booking and managing shoot teams, talent and locations as well as all requirements as a key brand representative.
• Management of the editorial shoot calendar, providing weekly email updates to the wider business, plus the creation of clear content plans and yearly reviews, reflecting asset performance and using this to inform future content.
• Manage the overall editorial budget and individual shoot budgets. Budget management also includes rate negotiation, forecasting shoot spends, holding credit cards, additional shoot expenses, invoicing and monthly reviews with finance.
• Creation of clear shoot briefs and schedules, working closely with the creative team.
• Management of post-production, including liaising and briefing retouchers, image selections and asset distribution with relevant stakeholders.
• Creation of relevant editorial stories/brand shoots which are commercially focused, pushing key product areas by working closely with online trading and the wider buying teams.
• Support the senior editor and editorial co-ordinator with homepage and feature asset planning.
• Support the e-commerce studio with model castings and updating the team on editorial shoot concepts and styling directions to ensure a consistent visual journey across the site.
MUST HAVES
• Over two years experience as a senior producer within a fast-paced online fashion business or related agency.
• Excellent project management skills and experience including department budget management and individual shoot budget management.
• Excellent reputation/relationships within the industry.
• Ability to lead, motivate and nurture a team - as well as manage team workflow and delegate/prioritize tasks in order to meet changing deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player within a busy office environment.
