Job Summary:
Digital Content Coordinator will help manage and maintain digital assets for 6 radio stations located in New York City.
Responsibilities
• Coordinates the planning and development of content for local New York City radio station websites.
• Creates, enhances and sets the direction along with the tone of online content.
• Create digital contest pages and other online content
• Offers social support, guidance, best practices, etc. for multiple brands and talent
• Devises unique, creative ideas for new features, content and enhancements that advance objectives and strategic plans.
• Scheduling of content, digital assets and newsletters for all stations in New York City cluster of sites.
Qualifications
• Excellent clear oral and written communication skills; excellent grammar; strong writing and editing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms, Google Analytics and Omniture.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Highly proficient in digital content including websites, social media, blogs and mobile/tablet applications, video, etc.
• A genuine love and excitement about the Internet and trending topics
• Experience with serving and supporting a sales team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven writing, editing, proofreading and copywriting skills.
• Excellent project management skills; strong attention to detail, and high work standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the local digital team and local sales team.
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Photography and video shooting/editing experience a major plus
• Experience in HTML/CSS a major plus
Education
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Journalism or Communications
